After improving and introducing lots of features in Google+ Hangouts, It is now also available on your Android Mobile Phones. Android 2.3+ devices has Google+ Hangouts Support. You can join Hangouts from your mobile phone. The mobile phone should have a front facing camera and a Android OS with 2.3 or later version.

The only limitation is that you cannot initialize a Hangouts from your mobile. You can only join an happening Hangout

Diss this mean the hangout invitation had to come from a Web google plus and not infection the mobile. There is no invite feature seen in mobile. Messages our on post.

ReplyDeleteyeah seems that Hangouts can only be initiated from computer , not from phone. Phone users can only join existing hangouts not initiating them.

Apps are only available for Android and iOS. it will be available unless samsung provide native app for corby. and Google+ will take some time to provide app for other phones.

Not being able to initiate from the phone is a deal breaker.

ReplyDeleteLame, need to be able to start it from the mobile device. I guess with google's circles you are literally stuck spinning in circles. Try to get away from your computer, but you eventually end up right back where you started.
